Event Name: Community Spirt Race
Location: Boca Raton, Florida

The Community Spirit Race is a chance for Nonprofits to raise much-needed funding to help them continue their mission. It's an opportunity for businesses to "Do Good" in the community while also involving their employees in the process.

This Event brought together nonprofits, business and individuals. The Spirit of Giving in an Umbrella organization with 60+ nonprofit members. Many nonprofits are not able to take on the risk of having a 5K race on their own. The Spirit of Giving provides marketing, publicity, materials, free training and fundraising expertise for the race. Each Nonprofit has the opportunity to fund raise for their teams with the ability to keep all of their fundraising money. It is an opportunity for nonprofits in our area to raise much needed funds to support the work that they do.

Some of the organizations that participated were, Achievement Centers for Children & Families, AVDA, American Association of Caregiving Youth, Best Foot Forward, Boca Raton Firefighter & Paramedic Benevolent, Boca Raton Historical Society, Bowtie Kids, CROS Ministries, Equine-Assisted Therapies of South Florida, Inc., Friends of Foster Children of Palm Beach County, Inc, Girls on the Run Palm Beach, HEI Florida, Impact 100 Palm Beach County, In Jacob's Shoes, Meals with Meaning - St. Gregory's Episcopal Church, Nat King Cole Generation Hope, Inc., Palm Beach County Medical Society, Roots and Wings, Scholar Career Coaching, Soroptimist International of Boca Raton/Deerfield Beach, Talented Teen Club Inc., Wayside House, Inc.
